Good beachfront apartment

Booked a beachfront apartment for a week. Easy to find options. Price was fair. The place was as described. No issues with booking or check-in. Would use Holidu again for future trips.

Reliable as always

I booked an apartment in the city center for a short break last month. This is my third time using Holidu, and honestly, the experience was just as smooth as the previous ones. I really appreciate how consistent the platform is; I always find what I'm looking for and the prices are competitive. The booking process was quick, and the confirmation came through without any hitches. It's why I keep coming back when I need a holiday rental, you know what to expect.

Great family villa

We just got back from our vacation and I had to leave a review! We booked a villa with a pool for our family holiday, and it was perfect! The listing was spot-on, and the kids absolutely loved the pool. The booking was super easy, and we got a great deal on it too. I'm already thinking about our next trip and will definitely be using Holidu again. I've already told my sister and a couple of friends about it. Seriously happy with this!

how does Holidu compare to Airbnb prices? sometimes seems cheaper but wondering if there's a catch

J Jared N. 2 months ago

Holidu actually lists properties *from* Airbnb sometimes, plus other sites like Vrbo and Booking. So you might find the exact same place but cheaper on a different platform through Holidu. No catch, just a good way to compare.

C Cleo C. 2 months ago

It's like a price comparison site. It pulls listings from all over, so you're seeing if the same place is cheaper on another site than it is directly on Airbnb. It's usually how I find better deals.

Hey, wondering about cancellation. It says 'free cancellation' sometimes but how does that actually work if plans change?

P Priya Carter 2 months ago

Yeah, if it says free cancellation, you usually just go into your booking and there's an option to cancel. It's pretty straightforward, no hidden fees or anything in my experience.

W Wendy Y. 2 months ago

It depends on the specific listing though. Some have a full refund up to a certain date, others might be like 50% back after that. Always double-check the fine print on that particular property before you book, it's usually pretty clear.

I saw a mention of a first booking discount. How do I get that, is there a code or something?

E Emma 2 months ago

Yeah, often they'll have a pop-up or you might get one if you sign up for their newsletter. It's usually a specific code you enter at checkout.

J Julia 2 months ago

I got one once from an email they sent. It's not always active though, so just check around on the site or see if a banner shows up. Look for a promo code box during the final steps of booking.

Anyone know if you can use PayPal to pay for bookings?

S Sophie P. 3 months ago

I think it depends on the partner site they link you to. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Holidu itself doesn't process the payment directly, so check the final booking page.

Used it last year, paid with my card though. Don't remember seeing a PayPal option, but maybe it's new for some providers now? Worth a shot to look at checkout.

Is Holidu legit? Never used it before and seeing some good deals but don't want to get scammed.

F Faith Marsh 2 months ago

Totally legit. It's basically a search engine that pulls from a bunch of sites like Booking and others. You're mostly booking through those sites, Holidu just helps you find the best price.

D Dana 2 months ago

Used them a couple of times for beach houses. Never had an issue. It's similar to Trivago but for vacation rentals. They show you where the deal is, then you book there.
